Booking process

All booking are done through app  by either customer or by joyrides employee at the center. No request for an offline booking shall be entertained under any circumstance. Minimum charges of 8hours is applicable. 

Payment process

Rental charges have to be paid in cash/paytm/anyother means available for the booking duration chosen.

Delay, extension and penalty

Customer is requested to avoid any delays what so ever to help us fulfill our delivery commitment for further bookings. Customer has a facility to extend their bookings before completion of the ride. If a rider gets delayed and has not extended his booking it shall be termed as breach of contract and a penalty of Rs. 100 shall be levied for each hour to delay. 

Delays in drop will not be waviered in lue of delay in pick up. In any such case customer is expected to cancel previous booking and make a fresh booking.


FOR JAIPUR customers: Rider should have to carry a valid permanent Two wheeler driving licence(authenticity of its validity for driving two wheelers would be the rider's) for submission and any other government issued id proof with Jaipur address. Adhaar no. shall be required for booking though Adhaar card itself is not mandatory. Original of government issued id proof shall be withheld and returned post drop of the vehicle. Sharing riders father's phone number is necessary in case he meets with an emergency situation. Rider needs to provide soft copy of parent's Adhaar card as an additional id for bookings more than 5days. If rider is a tenant in Jaipur confirmation through the landlord is required along with soft copy of rent agreement. Soft copy of job ID/student ID is a must.

For KOTA customers: Rider need to deposit their valid permanent driving license, valid aadhar card and Rs.2000 as security for booking a vehicle in Kota, Rajasthan.

Renting vehicles is not allowed if the rider possesses a learners licence or is below 18 years , as per government directives.

Customer will have to submit their original driving license. There will be no refund of booking amount if customer fails to submit the same.

Learning driving license is  not accepted while renting vehicles in Joyrides.

Speeding and Not following Traffic Rules

All our vehicles have GPS tracking devices; we recommend that you follow speed guidelines set by government. Our team gets automated updates on the two wheelers that exceed speed limits. If you exceed the speed limit then you are liable to pay a fine of 1000 Rs.

It is to be noted that only 2 riders are allowed on a vehicle according  to the Motor Vehicle Act 2021. If caught riding with more than 2 person then rider needs to pay penalty of Rs.1000. 

The rider is not allowed to drink and drive . If caught a penalty of Rs. 10000 will be fined.

Jumping red light invites a fine of Rs.1000 to Rs.5000 according to Motor Vehicle Act.

If for any reason vehicle is to be released from court after being impounded, Rs. 1500 will be charged by joyrides in addition to other legal expansion which are charged at actual.

Prohibited Uses

The use of a vehicle under the following conditions is prohibited:

Our motorcycle cannot be used for travelling to outside district of Jaipur.  Person can travel only within the district of Jaipur.

Our motorcycles cannot be used for rallies and rally surcharges or any format of professional or amateur competitions and media usage.

By any person who is under the influence of (i) alcohol or (ii) any drug or medication under the effects of which the operation of a vehicle is prohibited or not recommended.

In carrying out of any crime or any other illegal activity.

Under no circumstances shall the vehicle cross the district of Jaipur. If found doing so then shall be charged penalty of Rs.2000.  If vehicle crosses out of state then a penalty of Rs.10,000 penalty will be charged.

Cancellation and Refund process

Any booking can be cancelled by customer by sending across screenshot of your booking and proof of payment to customer care no. - 9521367772. Refund shall in such a case be processed within 72 Hours of request. Bookings can be cancelled by a payment of cancellation fee of 100/-. All bookings can be cancelled 2 working hours prior to the pickup time of the booking where working hours are 9am to 8pm everyday.

Any booking which has not been picked up by customer within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup time shall be deemed cancelled.

Delivery process

Rider has to be present at the agreed date and time to pick up the bike.

Delivered vehicle cannot be rejected after handover. Once accepted by rider at the time of pickup, vehicle is not to be returned before agreed contract period untill authorized personal are properly informed.

Though we do quality checks at our end before delivery, the rider is expected to see if there are any damages and report the same and photos shall be captured of the same.

Fuel Policy

Fuel is responsibility of the client. We will be giving you sufficient fuel to reach the nearest fuel pump. We expect the client to provide enough fuel for the next rider to reach the petrol pump. If such an amount of fuel is not left in the vehicle the customer is liable to be charged upto 30/-.

Joyrides does not have facilities to siphon extra petrol at center and return the same to customer. We request customer to not over fill the fuel tank. In no circumstances we shall purchase the fuel left by the customer in the vehicle's fuel tank at the end of the ride.


The customer is liable for checking engine oils during a trip and maintaining the vehicle while on road. Any mechanical failures should be reported immediately. Customers may be held responsible in case of a mechanical failure resulting due to negligence of the normal maintenance while on the trip.

Security and Damages

The rider agrees to pay for any damage to, loss of, or any theft (disappearance) of parts of vehicles regardless of cause or fault. Item damaged beyond repair will be paid for at its Market Price.

In the event of a collision, either due to the fault of the rider himself or due to any other unavoidable instance, the costs involved in towing or confiscation of JoyRide vehicles are to be borne by the riders alone.

We don`t take any security for renting out vehicle in Jaipur. Still vehicle`s safety is riders responsibility while vehicle is on ride. 

FOR Kota customers a security of Rs.2000 has to be given by the rider for renting vehicles. Under no circumstances shall the vehicle cross the district of Kota. If found doing so then shall be charged penalty of Rs.2000.  If vehicle crosses out of state then a penalty of Rs.10,000 penalty will be charged.

In case of an accident or collision, the rider is accountable to pay towards the accidental repairs. In such a case original license of the rider shall be needed. In case of a dispute of damage assessment customer can book the vehicle and choose to return repaired vehicle. in such a case only the ride amount for booking the vehicle for the time of repair shall be charged.

In case rider is penalized or vehicle is seized, it shall be rider's responsibility to clear the vehicle from authorities and hand it to Joyrides representative. Ride amount will be charged for the period when vehicle is with authorities and not is Joyride's possession.

Failure or refusal to pay the dues shall be considered breach of contract and Joyrides' reserve the right to take any action necessary to recover the dues. 

Loss of key - in case of loss of key the customer shall be charged a penalty of 1150/- for a new lockset with complete new set of keys and 50/- for transportation of one new keys to central office as required by insurance norms.

Cap on riding

There is no cap for rides upto 29 days. For bookings of 30 days or more the limit is 3500 km per month. Any additional kilometers will be charged at 2Rs per kilometers. The vehicle though cannot be taken beyond boundaries of Jaipur district. If caught in doing so , Rs.2000 penalty will be charged. If vehicle goes out of state (Rajasthan) then a penalty of Rs.10,000 will be charged due to the risk it carries.

Process to Rent Helmet

Only one helmet from Joyrides  will be provided per person per vehicle. Rs.50 will be charged for every extra Joyride helmet. If the helmet is damaged or lost, a charge of Rs. 450 will be levied. Helmet issued in both cases will be strictly Joyride branded helmets.


Money shown as credit in the wallet is used at the rate of maximum 10% of total ride amount. Money once used from wallet is not refunded in any circumstances. 

Drop time

Our centers oprate from 9am to 8pm. We hence do not accept any vehicle returns post 8pm even with penalty. If customer by any chance of events is unable to return the vehicle by 8pm sharp then they are liable to return the vehicle at the earliest(9:00am) next morning along with the penalty amout due till the time of return of vehicle.

Drop time includes time required by the executive of the company to finish return formalities. Customer is hence requested to plan for such time and arrive a little early at the drop center.

 Assumption of risk


The rider has been given the opportunity to operate ride upon or otherwise use one or more motorcycles or other vehicles owned or controlled by JoyRides brand(collectively, the �Company�; each such company owned or controlled vehicle is referred to herein as a �C.O.C.V.�),

The rider fully understands and acknowledges that operating or riding on a vehicle is an activity that has its own unique, inherent risks, and that serious injury or death could result from operating or riding on a C.O.C.V. through no fault of his own. The rider is voluntarily choosing to operate and/or ride upon C.O.C.V.s.


Without limiting the foregoing, THE RIDER ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING FROM THE FOLLOWING: (i) the condition or safety of the C.O.C.V.s, any other vehicles or equipment, or any roadways, premises or property; (ii) the repair or maintenance, or lack thereof, of the C.O.C.V.s or any other vehicles or equipment; (iii) the use of, or failure to use, any safety devices or safeguards; (iv) the conditions, qualifications, instructions, rules or procedures under which any C.O.C.V is used; (v) the violation by me or by other operators or passengers of any C.O.C.V. User Eligibility or Program Rules; (vi) any defective or unreasonably dangerous products, components or C.O.C.V.s; (vii) the weather conditions during operation of any C.O.C.V.s and (viii) single and/or multi-vehicle accidents.

The rider acknowledge that some or all of the C.O.C.V.s that I am allowed to operate, ride upon or otherwise use may be prototypes or pre-production models. It�s understood that prototype and pre-production C.O.C.V.s are not manufactured for general consumer use and are not fully tested. Also, understood point is that there in increased risk involved in operating or riding upon prototype or pre-production C.O.C.V.s, and THE RIDER AGREE TO ASSUME THAT RISK.

The rider at the time of booking and riding declares not to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, other illegal substances, or any medications that may impair his/her judgment or his/her ability to operate or ride on a C.O.C.V. The rider agrees that he/she will not operate or ride on any C.O.C.V. while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, other illegal substances or any such medications.

The rider agrees that he/she will not operate or ride upon any C.O.C.V. unless he/she have first examined and satisfied himself that the C.O.C.V. is in good operating condition, and that he/she fully understands how to operate and ride on that C.O.C.V.

The rider agrees to operate or ride on each C.O.C.V. safely, defensively and within the limits of the law and own abilities. The rider agrees to comply with all C.O.C.V. user eligibility and program rules.

In case of accident insurance liability of vehicle shall be beyond Rs.10000.


The rider also agrees to allow the company and their respective dealers to contact him/her at the address, telephone number and e-mail address provided below and gather additional information about the C.O.C.V.s and/or additional information about other goods and services in which one may be interested.
